Spend the night in a nomad tent, in a valley flanked by dramatic limestone
cliffs. Take the chance to try your hand at cooking some traditional meals.
Day 13 Ait Benhaddou
The set of many Hollywood blockbusters, Ourzazate and the kasbah of Ait
Benhaddou are impressive - and familiar - places to visit.
Days 14-15 Imlil
Hike to Armed and spend time with friendly Berbers, staying in a simple
mountain gite.
Day 16 Taroudannt
Leaving the mountains, traverse the Tizi n'Test pass to the dusky pink town
of Taroudannt.
Days 17-18 Essaouira
Walk along the ramparts of the Scala de la Ville, where carving workshops
overflow with fragrant local thuya wood.
Days 19-21 Marrakesh
Be mesmerised by the spices, souqs and central square of this heaving city.
